Pues resulta que Leslie al final si me "dejó" algo: el EPOD de hoy  martes 20 de noviembre.

The strange, clay-colored clouds shown above were observed from Santa Cruz de La Palma in the Canary Islands (Spain) on October 7, 2018. They were seen near sunset while we waited to see if Hurricane Leslie, one of the longest-lived tropical systems on record in the Atlantic Ocean, would reach the Canary Islands. It seems these clouds are a form of altocumulus (asperitas) wave cloud.
Leslie pulled in water vapor from the south and east of the Canary's as it approached. The prevailing winds here at this time of year are typically from the north-northeast. So perhaps the odd color of these clouds can be attributed to the presence of atmospheric particulates, including Saharan dust, ushered in from the southeast. Note that Leslie veered north of the Canaries, eventually reaching Portugal.

Extrañas nubes rojas a una altura de más de 2000 metros. Estas nubes llegaron a la isla canaria de La Palma mientras esperabamos para ver si el huracan Leslie alcanzaba la isla o no llegaba. El huracan Leslie atrajo nubes  y vapor de agua del sur, del trópico y durante la tarde en la que fue hecha la foto se formaron estas extrañas nubes rojas al atardecer

7 octubre de 2018. Tomada la foto al atardecer desde Santa Cruz de La Palma. Las montañas del fondo tienen entre 1500 y 2000 metros. El mansión que se ve está a unos 500 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
